A Holiday Makeup Routine

So It's been a while since I last uploaded a post, if you follow my social medias you know that I headed off to Kefalonia in Greece for a 10 day get away. So in the hectic prep of outfit choosing and last minute bikini buys I didn't have a spare minute to sit down and write a post, and in the 7 days so far I haven't wanted to sit inside while I could be outside being extra on a giant floatie or riding a jet ski.
but right now, I know a post is long overdue so I am going to share with you all my perfect holiday makeup look and products that is light, natural and perfect for the warm weather.

I NEVER EVER wear foundation, concealer or powder on holiday, and not really any time because it just melts off of your face, goes oily and caked, clogs your pores and doesn't really look very natural. It also covers up the tan you (hopefully) got. But if you are desperate for something Charlotte Tilbury's  wonder glow primer and light wonder foundation for a nice, natural and glowy look. Although these are quite expensive (around £70 for both) they are fabulous as I am still trying to find something I don't love.

For bronzer I have 2 choices I love for different reasons:

Makeup Revolution bronzer- the pan is HUGE and it is so pigmented and easy to blend. It also works amazing on a tan and is very buildable. £4
The hoola bronzer-   this quite pigmented and easy to build, and although it is small it seems to last forever. £24

Obviously I am using the MAC mineralise skinfinish in soft and gentle for my highlighter. it is quite pricey at £24 but I love it so much I would probably still buy it if it was £40 as it has lasted me like 1000000 years, and I use this so much, it is the only highlighter I ever really use. It is perfect: so build able, pigmented, versatile, glittery and AMAZING. Different shades of the mineralise skinfinish will work better for other skin tones, maybe do some more research or go and try it on in your local mac if you are unsure.

Sometimes I just skip out on blusher as I already have a natural rosy glow from the sun, but if I don't the mac blushers, benefit dandelion and their dandelion twinkle are amazing. They are all quite pricey but amazing: not really overpowering, actual there and bendable. The dandelion twinkle gives a lovely shimmery glow that makes you look so pretty. The MAC blushers are also just a great classic go to for me. My Mac blusher was my first ever piece of makeup given to me by my sister and it's still going after all  of this time. The regular dandelion is also just a really natural shade. If you are a different skin tone to me (I'm very light) other benefit blushers and Mac blushers will also work just as well.

For my eyeshadow I dip into 2 pallets. My too faced natural love and my Makeup revolution 100 eyeshadow pallet. They are both so pigmented. I love the natural love as it is pink, natural, sparkly and basically me in an eyeshadow pallet. And the makeup revolution pallet has just about every colour of the rainbow in differnt shades you could ever need so you can create a new look everynight (if you are brave) I have usually been sticking to a shimmery rose gold eye look that goes for a shimmery white to deep rose gold.

I never really wear eyeliner, but my one of my  best friends flossie bought me an urban decay glitter liner that I love and it looks gorgeous and sparkly and excites any eye look. I would 10000000000% recommend this as it just adds a little something extra and individual.

For my mascara I have, of course, been wearing my roller lash from benefit (THE BEST) this lasts ages and doesn't budge. It curls, thickens and lengthens my lashes so much and makes the look, look 100 times better. It really just noticeably transforms the look. For a cheaper option try the soap and glory thick and fast, it isn't as good but gives me a similar effect.

For brows I have dipped between 3 products:
my gimme brow is a great long lasting and natural look. I love this and even though it is small you get so much use out of it and makes you brows look so thick.
I also like to pair the nyx eyebrow pencil and rimmel clear brow gel for a more prominent and fuller brow look, I wasn't sure about the nyx brow pencil at first but now I love it because it is just so creamy and bendable and they have about a million shades for everyone ( it honestly took me like 30 mins to find the right shade, ha ha) and it's really cheap, probably the best brow pencil I have EVER tried in my life. The rimmel clear brow gel keeps my brows bomb all day and sets them so they don't budge.

And finally for lips any mac lip glosses ar eamazing, and the L'Oreal ones aswell for a whole lip colour and a lip topper. A really long lasting and cheap liquid lipstick are the MUA ones as these last forever and don't budge for anything, theselook great with a shimmery lip topper on top as well.
The lipstcik I have been wearing is one I bought in the airport and that is MACs peach blossom. I love this as it is a natural. peachy and creamy lipstick that I fell instantly in love with. But this coulur may not be for everyone for differnt reasons so I would just recommend MAC lipstcks as a great go to product.

lots of love
